Tsveta Bogdanova

Tsveta Bogdanova is a professional stage designer, costume maker, and multimedia artist from Bulgaria. Working as a freelancer she creates designs and projection mappings for various scenic productions in the capital, as well as for a list of municipal theatres in the country. Her accomplished projects for opera, ballet, and drama theatre have been shown on main Bulgarian stages such as: Sofia Opera and Ballet , Ivan Vazov National Theater, State Opera-Ruse, and more.

Tsveta graduated in Digital Arts (MA -2010) and Scenography (BA- 2008) from the National Academy of Arts – Sofia, she has specialized in Stage Design for Opera from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama – Cardiff (UK).

Beyond theatre, Tsveta is interested in making motion design, interactive and AV installation art. Periodically she takes part in performances and exhibitions in collaboration with other freelance artists and non-profit art organizations.

By now, her works have been shown in international exhibitions and festivals for new media art and theatre in Bulgaria, the UK, Czech Republic, and France. Lately, Tsveta takes part increasingly in virtual art actions and events happening or presented on the net worldwide.
