Nevena Georgieva

Nevena Georgieva is a scenographer and professor in Painting at the Department of Scenography of the National Academy of Arts. In 2021 she defended her PhD thesis in the same department.

She has worked on various theater projects such as Spiders, a verbatim documentary performance and Spotted in Blagoevgrad, directed by Neda Sokolovska; Beauty and the Beast, directed by Lyubomir Kolaksazov; Tartuffe, directed by Ventsislav Asenov.

She is a scenographer of short film projects among which: To Bury a Dragon, (2023); City of Ghosts, (2022); The Seaside, (2022); Night Shift, (2020).
